70. Losing to Win
Tuesday, March 6th, 2007Most of the people think that when they have something to offer, they have something to get back in return. This isn’t always right especially when it comes to relationships. Take friendship for instance. I’m sure that many of us have friends who don’t seem to have the intention of returning our favour or at least show their gratitude for all the things we have done for them. One will probably just get fed up and think that he’s actually losing time, money and effort in making this relationship work. But for me, it isn’t so. I always try to help a friend out without expecting too much in return. Even though it seems that I’m losing, I know I’m actually losing to win more friends in return.
