40. What I’ve Been Looking For
Wednesday, July 19th, 2006It has been a while since I’ve written my last blog. Months ago I was busy with my industrial training, and now, projects and thesis.
It’s hard to believe that time really flies. Now I’m moving on to my final year in the school of engineering, and then i realize i’ve become one of the oldest seniors in school, the seniors whom juniors always look up to (and for) for a piece of advice or information, or a pile of used reference books where you could never get it anywhere cheaper but here.
A couple of weeks later there will be our annual Faculty Night where juniors and seniors get together to have some fun and some weird beauty contests, but it has become a custom that the Night will be the platform for them to find a date or maybe a true love.
I think i’ve come up with a theme song for the party. It’s called What I’ve Been Looking For.
# It’s hard to believe, that I couldn’t see
You were always there beside me
Thought I was alone, with no one to hold
But you were always right beside me
This feelings like no other
I want you to know
I’ve never had someone that knows me like you do
the way you do
I’ve never had somone as good for me as you
no one like you
so lonely before, i finally found
what i’ve been looking for #
